This was Farnborough weekend but the Red Arrows no longer display there. Instead, as part of the RAF100 celebrations, they displayed at Hastings and Folkestone on the South Coast. The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight also displayed at Hasting in the morning.

There was no display controller at this event.
Orientation
The display line was over water, running east-west. The Red Arrows displayed at 18:00 when the sun was due west. Crowd centre was south of Hastings Castle. You know you’ve picked the right spot when the Red Arrows photographer sets up next to you.
