This was the third year of the Torbay Airshow and I attended both Saturday and Sunday. The weather was glorious and, with the sun behind me for every display, there were plenty of photographic opportunities.
The show was well supported by the RAF. Squadron Leader Mike Ling rejoined the Red Arrows for a tenth season to stand in for a colleague injured in a crash in March. This was their first public display of the season. The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight showed off their new Trenchard Formation (Lancaster and Dakota) to celebrate RAF100.

Orientation
The display line was over the bay, running approximately north-south, and the crowd faced east. The sun was behind the crowd to the right for the whole show.
