You’ll find me at airshows around the UK, hopefully by the crowd line on a sunny day, but often further back and sheltering under an umbrella. Always with my Nikon within reach and an airband radio clipped to my belt.
I only find time to visit a handful of the dozens of air shows staged each year and here are the events I’ve visited most recently. Click through for my best pictures at each show and you’ll see that I love both seaside and airport venues; fast jets and Merlins.
When the UK airshow season has ended, I indulge in my other pastime, also weather dependant: astrophotography, the imaging of stars, planets, nebulae and galaxies.
