Celebrating seventy-five years since the Battle of Britain, dozens of Spitfires, Hurricanes and a Blenheim departed Goodwood in eight flights of about 4 aircraft each and flew around the south-east of England.
After taking off from runway 24, they turned right to avoid Chichester and did low approach and go-arounds over runway 14. They left the area south towards Selsea.

Viewing was along the racetrack perimeter. I was at the south-eastern corner of the airfield, just east of runway 32’s threshold.
