The Red Arrows had a busy few days displaying at Armed Forces Day events around the country. I watched them at Ryde, Isle of Wight. This was their first full display on the island since June 2024. It’s good to see them returning to a full nine-ship formation, having been down on numbers in 2022 and 2023.
The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight had also been due to display but were grounded following a recent accident at RAF Coningsby.
