This was my fourth (and final) year visiting the Farnborough Airshow. I attended on Friday. Flying was between 13:00 and 16:00, when the show was sadly abandoned due to bad weather.
A review of safety at UK airshows following the Shoreham accident in 2015 has left the Red Arrows unable to display at Farnborough, but they performed an exciting flypast with an Airbus A350 XWB. Airbus were well represented with an A350, A380 and A400. Otherwise, the line-up was lacklustre; the glory days of Farnborough are probably behind us.
