Bournemouth seafront was warm and sunny for much of the Friday. Facing the sun through a persistent haze made for challenging photography, but that’s normal for my local air show.
The line up was excellent; the best of the three seaside air shows I’ve attended this year. The Royal Navy turned out in force, with their Black Cat display team (Wildcats displaying as a pair this year) arriving with Navy Wing’s Fairey Swordfish and Westland Wasp.
The Starlings Aerobatic Team put on a stunning display full of grace and precision, and this was my first time seeing them.
